Trip Details

The interior of Alaska is vast by any standard and a person could spend a lifetime exploring all of it.  On your Private Interior Alaska Adventure you will experience the parts of it that we have found to be the most exciting and rewarding…no…rewarding is not the right word, it is far more than that.  It is breathtaking in the very least.  As we fly around the perimeter of the sixth highest mountain and third highest volcano in America, covered in massive glaciers, you will feel just how tiny and vulnerable we are in this world…It will give a new perspective about life. You will experience the best parts of all of Interior Alaska, from massive towering glacier covered mountains, to deep lush valleys, to wild thundering rivers, and wide open expanses of land that seem to have no end.

Dip your fly line in unspoiled crystal clear waters and catch a Salmon, Rainbow, Grayling or Arctic Char that we will cook on the gravel bar right where you caught it!  We will show you fishing like you can't even begin to imagine, in waters that have only very rarely been fished...if ever!  You and your guide will be the ONLY ones on the water and it will all be filmed for you!

Your Private Interior Alaska Adventure will begin in Fairbanks and from there we will fly east towards the Canadian Border.  We will land on extremely remote bush airstrips and a few gravel bars to try your skill at catching your dinner with your fly rod. You will see many, many wondrous vistas and experience breathtaking sights that few people ever have the privilege of experiencing. And you will receive a professionally filmed and edited legacy video of your extraordinary adventure to show family, friends, and colleagues.

There are experiences that are written in indelible ink on our minds which change our lives forever…Let us design an epic one for you.

The Fine Print:

  • Number of Clients We Can Accommodate:  One or Two.  For added safety, and to make your adventure much more comfortable, we always take two airplanes on every adventure, whether it is for one guest or two. Both airplanes depart and arrive at the destinations at the same time.  Two Pilot/Guides, two Super Cubs, for either one or two guests! (Currently we take a maximum of two guests per trip).

  • Length of Trip: Seven days, not counting your arrival and departure dates

  • Dates Available:  From May through October

  • Lodging--Arrival/Departure:  A one night stay at your arrival and departure destination in Fairbanks is included in the cost.  We will make the reservations for you at a very nice hotel

  • We Offer You Three Options For Lodging During This Private Guided Alaska Air Adventure:

    1. You can choose to stay in a luxurious private cabin at the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge https://www.logcabinwildernesslodge.com/  We will fly you to and from the lodge each day of your Private Alaska Air Adventure.  The cost of the 6 night stay at the lodge is an additional $1,940 (double occupancy) which includes meals, and complimentary wine and beer with your meal.  We will make the reservations for you. We do not mark up the cost and we receive no kickbacks from the lodge

    2. We furnish a very comfortable tent camp (that is carried in the airplane) for each nights stay. You will have your own private tent, a very comfortable cot with a sleeping pad.  We can even furnish the sleeping bag if you desire.

    • You can choose any combination of the tent camp and lodge stay that you desire.  So if the weather gets marginal and you decide that the lodge is the best option for you on any given night we will fly you back to the lodge for the night. The choice is yours every day.  Your luxury cabin will be waiting for you!

  • Hygiene While Camping:  We carry a small portable hot water shower in the airplane along with a portable shower stall, and a wash basin with hot water. We also set up a portable toilet with a privacy enclosure.

  • Meals—Tent Camp:  All meals prepared at our tent camps are included in the cost (alcohol is not included).  Breakfast is usually eggs, cereal, oatmeal or pancakes.  Lunch is sometimes Fresh Caught Fish (off the fly rod and onto the grill kind of fresh) grilled on the shore where you (or your guide) caught them, or Smoked Alaska Salmon, or a Moose Burger and homemade bread.  For the evening meal we usually grill Wild Alaska Salmon, Halibut, Caribou, Moose, or Fresh Caught Fish, along with serving vegetables.  However, if you are a vegetarian or have any food allergies we can tailor the menu to fit your needs.

  • Other Meals: Taken at restaurants or lodges are for the clients account and expense
